MINSK, 17 December (BelTA) – On 17 December, Belarus’ Foreign Affairs Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov met with China’s Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs Liu Bin, who arrived in Minsk to attend Belarus-China ministerial consultations, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Foreign Affairs Ministry.
The parties highlighted the momentum in the all-weather, all-round strategic partnership between Belarus and China in the new era. They discussed a range of matters related to bilateral and multilateral cooperation, including upcoming visits at various levels, as well as key aspects of the economic agenda.

Special attention was given to further deepening trade, economic and investment cooperation, implementing joint projects, and expanding the participation of Chinese investors in the socio-economic development of the Republic of Belarus.
The Belarusian side reaffirmed its commitment to the One China principle, emphasizing that the Taiwan issue is an internal matter of the PRC.
