Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina discuss ways to promote bilateral dialogue

MINSK, 21 June (BelTA) - The development and strengthening of the bilateral dialogue between Belarus and Bosnia and Herzegovina were discussed during the meeting of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Hungary with concurrent accreditation to Bosnia and Herzegovina Vladimir Ulakhovich with member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik, BelTA learned from the Belarusian diplomatic mission.

“The parties discussed in detail the state and areas of the development and strengthening of the bilateral dialogue, including between the regions of Belarus and Bosnia and Herzegovina, various sectors of interaction,” the Belarusian embassy said.

Vladimir Ulakhovich and Milorad Dodik exchanged views on the development of the internal political situation in Belarus and Bosnia and Herzegovina, the state and prospects of strengthening security and stability in the region.

On 20 June Vladimir Ulakhovich presented the copies of his credentials to Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Sefik Dzaferovic. During the protocol conversation, the parties outlined the areas of mutual interest, praised the successful experience of cooperation and expressed interest in the development of mutually beneficial cooperation in various sectors with the priority on trade and economic relations.

A few days earlier, the Belarusian diplomat presented his credentials to the newly elected Hungarian president Katalin Novak who took office in May 2022.
