MINSK, 7 September (BelTA) – Chairman of the International Affairs Commission of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Valery Voronetsky took part in the Baltic Sea Parliamentary Conference (BSPC) in Hamburg, Germany, BelTA learned from the press service of the House of Representatives.
Valery Voronetsky held meetings with MPs of the BSPC member states to discuss the ways of expanding parliamentary cooperation with the Baltic Sea countries with a view to advancing Belarus’ national interests.
Apart from that, the discussions in Hamburg also covered issues of cooperation development in the region, including the EU strategy for the Baltic Sea Region, IT in the digital age, science and research, environmental management and the Baltic Sea state, sustainable tourism, migration and integration.
