MINSK, 2 June (BelTA) – Belarus and Bahrain plan to abolish visas for holders of diplomatic passports, spokesman for the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dmitry Mironchik told media on 2 June, BelTA has learned.
Today the Asian country is hosting the Belarusian-Bahraini ministerial consultations on consular issues. “The parties are discussing the draft agreement on the mutual abolishment of visas for holders of diplomatic, special and service passports, and also issues related to the further simplification of visa formalities for the citizens of the two countries,” said Dmitry Mironchik.
The diplomats also touched upon the issues related to the protection of people in an emergency situation, mutual recognition of official documents issued in Belarus and Bahrain, and other issues of mutual interest.
