VIENNA, 9 June (BelTA) - Belarus and Austria discussed a wide range of issues of the political engagement during the ministerial consultations in Vienna on 9 June, BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian delegation was led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Oleg Kravchenko. During the consultations, the parties discussed the issues of Belarusian-Austrian relations, including the cooperation between the two countries in the political, trade, economic and other areas.
In particular the parties reviewed the interaction in the international and regional organizations, including the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and the Central European Initiative (CEI). These issues were discussed in the context of Belarus’ Presidency in the CEI and Austria’s Chairmanship in the OSCE. There was also an exchange of views on the relations between Belarus and the EU and on the regional security.
