Belarus, Austria discuss bilateral cooperation

MINSK, 11 December (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Austria Alena Kupchyna met with Vice-Chancellor of Austria, Minister for the Civil Service and Sport Heinz-Christian Strache, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties discussed the current state and prospects of further development of cooperation in various fields, some aspects of interaction between Belarus and the European Union. Alena Kupchyna spoke about Belarus’ preparations for the 2nd European Games and expressed hope for active participation of Austrian athletes in the competitions. She also invited numerous fans of Austria to Minsk.
“The parties confirmed their interest in further expansion of cooperation in all areas of mutual interest,” the press service said.
