Belarus-Austria business council to meet in Vienna on 31 January

MINSK, 15 January (BelTA) – The Belarusian-Austrian business council is set to meet in Vienna on 31 January, BelTA learned from the website of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The event is organized by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry jointly with the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber as part of the Belarus-Austria intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation.

The participants of the business council will consider the Belarusian-Austrian investment, trade, and economic cooperation, including the financial support instruments for bilateral trade provided by the banks of the two countries, the opportunities to enter the markets of third countries with the help of Austrian companies, the processing of food products of Austrian brands in Belarus, and the development of tourism.

Belarus will hold a presentation of its companies and organizations, products and services for potential Austrian partners, and also bilateral talks with Austrian businessmen.

Taking part in the meeting will be co-chairs of the business council: owner of Bertsch Holding GmbH Hubert Bertsch and Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Ulakhovich, and also representatives of ministries, financial institutes, and businessmen of the two countries.
