Belarus attends symbolic complex inauguration ceremony in Hanoi

MINSK, 22 December (BelTA) - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Vietnam Vladimir Borovikov, along with Defense Attaché Vadim Raichenok, took part in the official inauguration ceremony of the International Friendship, Solidarity, and Gratitude Symbolic Complex, BelTA learned from the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Hanoi.

The event, held at the Vietnam Military History Museum in Hanoi, was timed to mark the 79th anniversary of National Resistance Day, the 81st anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People’s Army, and the 36th anniversary of the country’s National Defense Day.

In the presence of heads of diplomatic missions and representatives of the defense attaché corps, Deputy Minister of National Defense Hoang Xuan Chien highlighted the significant contribution of military officers from friendly nations to the victory of the Vietnamese people and to the formation and development of a sovereign and independent Vietnamese state and the Vietnam People’s Army.
