Belarus, Arab League agree on visit of AOAD head

MINSK, 11 June (BelTA) - During a visit to Sudan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Permanent Representative of Belarus to the League of Arab States Sergei Terentyev met with Director General of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD) Ibrahim Adam El Dukheri, BelTA learned from the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Egypt.

The parties hailed the considerable potential for the development of cooperation between the LAS specialized institutions and Belarusian organizations and research centers in seed farming, irrigation, mechanization of agriculture, ecology and forestry, technical and scientific personnel training.

“An agreement was reached to organize a visit of Ibrahim Adam El Dukheri to Belarus,” the embassy said.
