Belarus’ ambassador presents credentials to Bolivian president

MINSK, 28 September (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the Plurinational State of Bolivia Andrei Molchan presented his credentials to President of the Plurinational State of Bolivia Luis Arce on 26 September, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The parties discussed in detail the bilateral and international agenda. The Bolivian president expressed his interest in Belarusian farming machinery and expertise in the agricultural industry, and in collaboration in science and technology. They noted that Belarus and Bolivia should make the most of their substantial cooperation potential.

In addition to that, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Sergei Aleinik received copies of credentials from Ambassador of the Republic of Benin to the Republic of Belarus (with residence in Moscow) Akambi Andre Okounlola-Biaou. The parties discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation, including plans to intensify political dialogue, trade and economic cooperation.
