Belarus’ ambassador meets with Armenia’s minister of justice

MINSK, 10 August (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Armenia Aleksandr Konyuk has met with Armenia’s Minister of Justice Karen Andreasyan, BelTA learned from the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Yerevan.

The parties discussed the state and prospects of cooperation between the ministries of justice of Belarus and Armenia. They agreed on intensifying contacts, exchanging best practices between the ministries of justice and arranging mutual visits.

The diplomatic relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Armenia were established on 11 June 1993. Belarus opened its embassy in Yerevan in September 2001. The Embassy of Armenia in Minsk has been operating since 1993. The establishment of diplomatic relations helped advance the bilateral cooperation to a new level.
