Belarus’ ambassador, Jerusalem Patriarch review international situation

MINSK, 11 July (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Israel Yuri Yaroshevich met with Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.

The parties exchanged views on the current situation in the Middle East and discussed pressing issues related to Belarus and the international environment surrounding it.

They also noted the similarity of approaches and efforts to maintain peace undertaken by Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko and Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem aimed at seeking compromises, strengthening mutual understanding, and achieving peaceful conflict resolution.
