Belarus admits over 85,000 Ukrainian citizens since 2024 year-start

MINSK, 16 August (BelTA) – Belarus has admitted 85,700 citizens of Ukraine since the start of the year, BelTA has learned from the State Border Committee.

Of them 35 people came to Belarus from Ukraine, 68,014 - from Poland, 16,467 - from Lithuania, 1,267– from Latvia. About 3,000 citizens of Ukraine arrived in Belarus during the week.

Since 24 February 2022, a total of 232,275 citizens of Ukraine have arrived in Belarus: 15,953 crossed the Ukrainian-Belarusian border, 165,802 came from Poland, 44,717- from Lithuania, and 5,803 - from Latvia.
