Belarus admits around 71,000 Ukrainian citizens since February

MINSK, 16 December (BelTA) – Around 71,000 Ukrainian nationals have arrived in Belarus since February, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.

“From 24 February to 16 December, Belarus admitted 70,935 citizens of Ukraine. 15,890 people arrived in Belarus directly from the territory of Ukraine. 43,801 citizens of Ukraine came to Belarus via Poland, 9,344 – via Lithuania and 1,900 - via Latvia,” the committee informed.

Over the past week, Belarus admitted around 1,000 citizens of Ukraine. All of them came via the EU countries.
