Belarus admits almost 8,700 Ukrainian citizens since 2024 year-start

MINSK, 9 February (BelTA) – Belarus has admitted 8,696 citizens of Ukraine since the beginning of the year, BelTA has learned from the State Border Committee.

Out of 8,696 arrivals, 5,999 Ukrainian citizens came to Belarus from Poland, 2,631– from Lithuania, 62 – from Latvia and four – from Ukraine.

Since 24 February 2022, 155,188 citizens of Ukraine have arrived in Belarus: 15,922 crossed the Ukrainian-Belarusian border, 103,787came from Poland, 30,881- from Lithuania, and 4,598– from Latvia.
