MOSCOW, 27 March (BelTA) – A delegation of Arkhangelsk Oblast of Russia led by Governor Igor Orlov will visit Belarus from 29 to 31 March, BelTA learned from the press service of the Arkhangelsk Oblast Governor and the administration of the region.
The Russian delegation is expected to sign an agreement on trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Arkhangelsk Oblast. “The agreement will facilitate our trade and will reduce the prices for goods almost to the cost of production. Both parties will benefit from the creation of a most transparent common economic market,” the press service said.
The delegation will comprise representatives of the Arkhangelsk Oblast Development Corporation, the regional forestry industry and such sectors as transport, agriculture, trade, and tourism. The Russian region is interested in Belarusian heavy vehicles, buses, and food products.
