MINSK, 4 October (BelTA) – The representative office of the Holy See in Belarus will continue supporting traditional spiritual values. The statement was made by Apostolic Nuncio to Belarus, Archbishop Gabor Pinter during the event held on 4 October to mark the opening of new premises of the Apostolic Nunciature in Minsk and the 25^th anniversary since diplomatic relations between Belarus and the Holy See were established, BelTA has learned.

Gabor Pinter said: “Over the 25 years we’ve lived through many truly fruitful events together. In this period a lot changed in Belarus and the world but the goal of our cooperation remains the same. We still would like to work together for the common good to make this world as good as possible for every person. After lengthy preparations and scrupulous work we mark a new milestone in the advancement of friendly relations between the Vatican and Belarus with the opening of the new building of the Vatican representative office in Belarus. Proverbial wisdom says that good friendship is stronger than stone walls. May the walls of the Apostolic Nunciature ever be a vivid token of friendship and good relations.”
