MINSK, 8 June (BelTA) – The media forum has become an international platform for discussing topical issues on the international agenda, estimating the role and importance of mass media in the modern world, Information Minister of Belarus Liliya Ananich said at the 10^th Belarusian International Media Forum “Partnership for the Future: Legacy of the Great Victory”, BelTA has learned.

The minister expressed hope that the media forum will become a landmark event in the development of the international media space, will make a big contribution to the enhancement of peace and mutual understanding between nations.

Partaking in the Belarusian international media forum are influential media experts, representatives of international organizations and diplomatic missions from more than 20 countries.

The media forum “Partnership for the Future: Legacy of the Great Victory” is held under the aegis of the Belarusian President and the government. The organizers of the forum include the Permanent Committee of the Union State, the CIS Executive Committee, the CSTO, the CIS Interstate Fund of Humanitarian Cooperation, the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Minsk City Hall and the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee.
