MINSK, 8 December (BelTA) – Charge d'affaires a.i. of Belarus to Sweden Alexei Poplavsky has assumed his duties in Stockholm, spokesman for the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dmitry Mironchik told a press briefing on 8 December.

For the time being, the diplomat is working alone. They will be working to develop the economic relations and provide consular services.

Dmitry Mironchik also said that another Belarusian diplomat Alexei Panferov arrived in Spain on 1 December on a similar mission. The full-fledged diplomatic mission of Belarus will open there soon.
