MINSK, 16 December (BelTA) - Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent greetings to Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev as the country celebrates the 25th anniversary of independence, BelTA learned from the president’s press service.
“A strong state and a new dynamic economy have been built under your leadership. Thanks to the social accord and responsible foreign policy the country has gained the high international authority,” the message of greetings reads.
The head of state noted that Kazakhstan actively promotes the principles of good neighborliness and constructive cooperation being one of the pioneers of the integration movement on the post-Soviet space.
“I am convinced that the all-round enhancement of Belarus-Kazakhstan ties relying on friendship and mutual understanding fully meets the aspirations of the two nations,” Alexander Lukashenko stressed.
