MINSK, 20 October (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has signed a law on amending the laws on criminal liability and administrative liability, the press service of the Belarusian leader told BelTA.
This piece of legislation is designed to beef up security in Belarus’ air space.
Administrative liability has been introduced for the illegal import of civilian unmanned aerial vehicles into Belarus’ territory, for storage, turnover, operation, or manufacturing of civilian unmanned aerial vehicles.
The law also introduces criminal liability for the same actions that have been repeated after an administrative penalty.
The main provisions of the law will come into force in ten days after its official publication.
