MINSK, 29 December (BelTA) - Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has signed the law “On Amendments to Laws Concerning Individual Entrepreneurial Activity.” The document introduces amendments to 26 laws across various legal fields, including three codes, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The document specifies the scope of natural persons to whom the regulatory provisions apply: either all citizens, or only individuals not engaged in entrepreneurial activity, or only citizen-entrepreneurs.
References to individual entrepreneurs are removed from those regulations that govern types of activities not included in the relevant list, as defined by Resolution No. 457 of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated 28 June 2025. The preferences previously established for micro-enterprises are now extended to organizations with up to 50 employees.
Furthermore, to ensure systematic and comprehensive legal regulation, a number of amendments unrelated to the transformation of entrepreneurial activity have been incorporated into the law.
