Belarusian salad

This dish was introduced in the diet of Belarusians not so long ago, but it perfectly fits the traditions of the Belarusian cuisine. Salads are based on products, which have long been used in many Belarusian recipes: liver, onion, mushrooms, pickled cucumbers.

For two servings you will need:

  • 200g raw beef liver
  • 2 onions
  • 100g boiled mushrooms
  • 2 pickles
  • 2 boiled eggs
  • 100g mayonnaise
  • 50g flour

Slice the liver, add salt and pepper, roll it in the flour, put on the heated frying pan and fry 3-4 minutes from each side. Remove it from the oven, cover with a lid and leave it until it is ready.

Cut onions and mushrooms into sticks and fry them until they are an even delicate golden color.

Cut the pickles into sticks and chop eggs into rough pieces. Mix them with the mushrooms and onions, and dress with the mayonnaise sauce.

Put it on a dish and spread pieces of liver on top. Decorate with the dill and cranberry.
