Palace and Park Ensemble in Zhilichi

The Bulhak family palace in the village of Zhilichi (today Kirovsk District) is often called the “second Nesvizh” and even the “Belarusian Versailles”. According to the vision of its founder, the nobleman Ignatius Bulhak, the estate was meant to surpass not only all nearby residences in its beauty and uniqueness but even rival estates in France. Today the Zhilichi Historical Museum Complex draws a great number of visitors from Belarus and from around the world.
