Dribin, the smallest district center in Belarus
The urban settlement of Dribin is Belarus’ smallest district center, with a population of about 3,000 people. It is also the youngest district center in Mogilev Oblast. Dribin acquired its status as a district center in 1989 due to the mass resettlement of people from areas of Mogilev Oblast affected by the Chernobyl disaster. It was only officially designated an urban settlement in 1997.
