Zyuganov: Belarus is a guardian of justice and friendship of nations

MINSK, 19 July (BelTA) – The Belarusian land is a guardian of justice and friendship of nations, Chairman of the Communist Party faction in the Russian parliament Gennady Zyuganov said as he met with Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko on 19 July, BelTA informs.

“There are some supreme values for me. These include, first of all, justice, friendship among nations, humanism, and love for the Homeland. I think that the Belarusian land is the guardian of these values,” Gennady Zyuganov said.

The chairman of the Communist Party added that he visited the Great Patriotic War Museum in Minsk on 19 July. In his words, its visitors can get a feeling of what genuine heroism, patriotism, and true friendship of nations are.

Gennady Zyuganov also remarked that Belarus is like the second homeland for him. “I should say that Minsk is a wonderful city. It is clean, comfortable, cheerful, and bright. It has been developing as an ultra-modern European and global center of culture and true wellbeing. You have done a lot to get rid of officious advertising boards, and preserve the artistic and architectural image of the city, its moral and ethical principles,” the chairman of the Russian Communist Party said.
