ZENA: My show will impress Eurovision 2019 audience

TEL AVIV, 14 May (BelTA) – ZENA, Belarus’ representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019, unveiled some details of her act as she talked to a BelTA reporter.

On 14 May the Belarusian singer will compete in the first semi-final together with contestants from 16 countries. “My show will be stunning, stylish and vibrant. There will be many visual effects, which I believe will fascinate the audience,” ZENA said.

According to the young singer, she feels great support from her fans and her team. “Many people know me, many support me. It is really encouraging that so many people are following me and my career,” the Belarusian singer noted.

ZENA added that she will do her best to perform brilliantly. “I will be nervous during the show, but this will not stop me. Any artist is nervous, but it is like adrenaline to me, it makes me want to act,” she said.

The Belarusian contestant will take to the stage of Expo Tel Aviv with her song Like It. She will be the eighth to perform. The other semi-finalists represent  Cyprus, Montenegro, Finland, Poland, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Serbia, Belgium, Georgia, Australia, Iceland, Estonia, Portugal, Greece, and San Marino.

Only ten of them will make it to the final. In line with the rules, the audience cannot vote for their own country.

The second semi-final will take place on 16 May; the Grand Final is scheduled for 18 May. Both semi-finals and the final will be broadcast live by Belarus 1 TV channel and Belarus 24 international satellite channel.

Israel is hosting the Eurovision Song Contest for the third time. This year the contest is held under the motto Dare To Dream.
