MINSK, 26 June (BelTA) – China and Belarus uphold justice and oppose the use of force in international relations, Deputy Secretary of the Working Committee of Central and State Organs and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Commission of Central and State Organs of China Wang Aiwen said during a meeting with Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Vadim Ipatov in Minsk on 26 June, BelTA has learned.
Wang Aiwen thanked the Belarusian side for the warm welcome and friendship. He also noted that the main objective of his visit to Belarus was to establish broad contacts to enhance mutual understanding and further develop Belarusian-Chinese relations.
“Under the strategic leadership of Chinese President Xi Jinping and Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko, the China-Belarus all-weather and comprehensive strategic partnership has been developing steadily at a high level. As true friends and good partners, our countries always show sincerity in their relations. In my opinion, the strategic leadership of the two heads of state and high political mutual trust are the most prominent features of Belarus-China relations,” Wang Aiwen said.

The official also emphasized that the Chinese side highly appreciates Belarus’ firm adherence to the One China principle, as well as its support for the Chinese government’s efforts to realize national unity and protect its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
“The Chinese side also firmly supports Belarus’ pursuit of a path chosen by its people and suited to its national realities, while opposing any external interference in the country’s internal affairs. The China-Belarus iron brotherhood is becoming increasingly valuable and important in today’s unstable world, which is undergoing chaos, transformation, and changes unseen in a century,” Wang Aiwen said. “Faced with such a complex and volatile environment, China and Belarus uphold justice, oppose the use of force in international relations, and defend the world order.”
