MINSK, 26 January (BelTA) - Serbia will always support Belarus, Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic told the media after the talks with Belarus Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov, BelTA has learned.

“For us it is especially important that Belarus respects the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia, provides full support to the country in all international organizations and institutions. Serbia, for its part, will support Belarus, always and anywhere,” Aleksandar Vucic said.

 The Serbian Prime Minister took note that the two countries are bound by long and sincere friendship, and that the level of interstate relations is high. In his view, the good political relations will help increase the trade turnover, attract Belarusian investment in Serbia and Serbian investment in Belarus.

Aleksandar Vucic also said that Serbia sent invitations and looks forward to the visits of Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko and Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov. Serbia is also ready to host representatives of the business community of Belarus and hopes to increase the tourist flow between the two countries. “We want to continue our cooperation at the highest level,” Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said.
