Rahmon: Tajikistan values multifaceted ties with Belarus

DUSHANBE, 15 May (BelTA) – Tajikistan highly values the achieved level of multifaceted cooperation with Belarus, Tajikistan’s President Emomali Rahmon said at an extended meeting with Belarus’ President Alexander Lukashenko, BelTA has learnt.

“Regular highest-level contacts are an important instrument of shaping positive vector of the bilateral relations. We greatly value the achieved level of multifaceted cooperation with Belarus. Tajikistan has always been a consistent supporter of closer ties with Belarus. I am convinced that our Belarusian friends think the same,” the Tajikistani President said.

In his words, such a joint approach and a high level of mutual trust create a solid foundation for taking the bilateral partnership to a new level.
