MINSK OBLAST, 27 July (BelTA) – The quality of the Geely cars, which are assembled in Belarus, is commendable. Prime Minister of Belarus Andrei Kobyakov made the relevant statement after test-driving a Geely Emgrand GT car on 27 July, BelTA has learned.

Andrei Kobyakov said: “A decent car. Comfortable and spacious. It is understandable the equipment is good since this one has an improved package of options. Driving is smooth and soft.”

BelGee is now busy building a new factory. The first car is supposed to roll off the assembly line at the very beginning of 2017. The factory is designed to make 60,000 vehicles per annum initially. It will make three models — two crossovers and a sedan. “Those will be fresh models, a new market product. Thanks to these models Geely Company is the top seller. Queues for buying these models can be 2-3 months long,” said BelGee Production Manager Pavel Guretsky.
