MINSK, 19 March (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko and President of the United States of America Donald Trump may have a personal contact soon. U.S. Special Envoy John Coale mentioned it when talking to reporters after negotiations with the Belarusian head of state in Minsk on 19 March, BelTA has learned.
Taking into account the broad Belarusian-American agenda, the USA’s representative was asked whether a direct bilateral contact between Aleksandr Lukashenko and Donald Trump should be expected in the near future either as a personal meeting or a phone call.
“Yes,” John Coale gave an affirmative answer.
