Opinion: A united society can counter modern challenges

MINSK, 19 August (BelTA) – The consolidation and unity of the society on the basis of a balanced, wise, and fair government policy can be set against modern challenges and threats, BelTA learned from Andrei Kuntsevich, who was appointed deputy head of the Belarus President Administration on 19 August.

The official said: “The most important thing the president drew attention to as he made the appointment is work with people, the resolution of their daily problems, which in essence is the top-priority task for executives of any level. We shouldn’t hide from the topical issues that our people are worried about. Instead we should work together to find ways to resolve them using any relevant channels for feedback. It is likely the key task of the ideological power vertical today.”

“From my point of view ideology will always be of current interest. Time has shown that it is important today, that not only the authorities but the people need it,” he added.

As a deputy head of the Belarus President Administration Andrei Kuntsevich will oversee ideology, public associations, and mass media.
