Malofeyev: Eurasian Network University can productively cooperate with China

Photo from archiveMINSK, 31 August (BelTA) - Eurasian Network University can productively cooperate with China. A memorandum on setting up this university was signed in the spring of 2016, Dean of the Pre-university Education Department of the Belarusian State University Vyacheslav Malofeyev said during the interstate radio linkup Minsk-Bishkek, BelTA informs.

According to Vyacheslav Malofeyev, the level of relations in the Eurasian Economic Union makes it possible to mull over the establishment of the first network university. “By the way, this network university can productively cooperate with such a strong partner as China. We have already opened joint educational programs, departments, postgraduate programs with four universities of China,” the expert said. “This work is now in progress between the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union. This can lead to the establishment of this network university in the near future.”

Former speaker of the Russian State Duma Sergey Naryshkin said earlier that the financing of the network university will rely on the principles of private-public partnership. In his words, the abovementioned project can have a big influence on the resolution of personnel and scientific tasks within the framework of the common integration paradigm, which is to create a free market of goods, works, services, capitals, and workforce in the EAEU.

The interstate radio linkup Minsk-Bishkek was organized by the First National channel of the Belarusian Radio and Birinchi Radio (Kyrgyzstan’s Public Radio and Television Corporation).
