Makei: Belarus-India relations undregoing new lease on life

NEW DELHI, 12 September (BelTA) – Relations between Belarus and India are undergoing a new lease on life, Belarus Minister for Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei told the media, BelTA has learned.

“The atmosphere of the visit of the Belarusian president was very lively, busy and engaged on the part of both parties. At this point, we think that our relations with India, one of the leading players in this region, are undergoing a new lease on life,” the minister said.

According to him, Indian partners have shown absolute willingness to develop relations in a variety of areas. Mutual interest was marked at the highest level.

Vladimir Makei noted that India aims to become one of the leading economies in the world. For this purpose the country adopts certain decisions, state programs. “India sees a place for Belarus in these programs. We are ready to share experience, knowledge and technology with our partners,” he said.
