Lukashenko: You can’t make people stay in once place in a global world

Lukashenko: You can’t make people stay in once place in a global world

MINSK, 17 November (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko spoke about the global nature of the modern world and certain trends as he talked to journalists after casting his vote in the parliamentary election on 17 November, BelTA informs.

The head of state believes that today there are virtually no walls and barriers for the movement and interaction of people. It is wrong to prevent people from moving if they want to work abroad in such industries as science, for example. It is impossible to develop without international contacts, he said.

As an example, Aleksandr Lukashenko mentioned the news that foreign doctors are welcome in Poland for employment. “Polish doctors have recently complained that too many foreigners come to Poland. Calculations were made. It turned out that only about 200 Belarusian doctors went to Poland. Many specialists came back,” the president said.

“This is our world, a global world. People can go wherever they want. You cannot make them stay in one place,” the Belarusian leader concluded.
