Lukashenko wants Belarus’ cooperation with India to be as good as with China

BOBRUISK, 17 June (BelTA) – In cooperation with India Belarus would like to reach the level it currently has with China, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he spoke to the Belshina employees in Bobruisk on 17 June, BelTA has learned.

The president mentioned his recent meeting with the ambassador of India, during which he was assured of India's readiness to continue buying Belarusian goods. The difficulties however are connected with the United States that is beginning to strangle those who cooperate with Belarus.

“We are focused on India right now. The market is one and a half billion people. We are expanding cooperation. We want to have cooperation with India at least at the level of China. China, Russia, India, Vietnam, Indonesia, Asian countries are where we can work and feel confidently.
