MINSK, 7 April (BelTA) – COVID-19 cases are not growing exponentially in Belarus, Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko said at a meeting in Minsk on 7 April, BelTA has learned.

“As of today, 794 people are in hospital, 31 are mechanically ventilated. There is no catastrophe at all,” the head of state underlined.

“Indeed, there is a rise in new cases, however, the growth is not exponential. We should keep it this way,” Aleksandr Lukashenko added.
