Lukashenko: No decrees are needed to work well

VOLKOVYSK, 13 August (BelTA) - No decrees are needed to work well, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said at the session to discuss the social and economic development of Grodno Oblast which was held at the Volkovysk District Executive Committee on 13 August, BelTA has learned.

The head of state paid special attention to the efficiency of enterprises and districts of Grodno Oblast. He stressed that industrious approaches are needed in all fields. The meeting also focused on mediator services in the purchase of chemical protection products and veterinary medications. The President gave a clear-cut instruction to purchase these products directly to avoid price hikes. “Mediation services may not involve corrupt schemes, but they will definitely increase prices,” the head of state noted.

Alexander Lukashenko asked about the situation in Grodno Oblast districts, particularly, in Volkovysk District.

Partaking in the session were high-raking officials of a number of public bodies, including Chairman of the State Control Committee Leonid Anfimov, senior officials of Grodno Oblast and Volkovysk District, representatives of regional enterprises.
