Lukashenko extends condolences to Israel President over passing of Shimon Peres

MINSK, 28 September (BelTA) – On behalf of the Belarusian people and himself, President Alexander Lukashenko has extended condolences to President of the State of Israel Reuven Rivlin, the people of this country, the family and friends of former president of Israel Shimon Peres in connection with his death, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“It is with deep pain and sorrow that the Republic of Belarus has learned the news about the death of Shimon Peres, an outstanding political figure, winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, one of the famous representatives of the generation of funders of Israel who were born in Belarus. We will always remember him,” the message of condolences reads.
