Lukashenko expresses condolences to Georgia over hotel fire in Batumi

MINSK, 27 November (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has expressed condolences to Georgia President Giorgi Margvelashvili, families of the victims of a fire at the Leogrand Hotel in Batumi, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The head of state noted that it is with deep pain that Belarus has learned the news about the victims of the fire. He also asked to convey his wishes of a speedy recovery to the injured.

As BelTA reported earlier, the fire ripped through the hotel in Batumi on 24 November, killing 11 people, including ten citizens of Georgia and one Iranian national.
