Lukashenko expresses condolences over passing of Nil Gilevich

MINSK, 30 March (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has expressed condolences to the family of People’s Poet of Belarus Nil Gilevich in connection with his passing, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“The creative work of Nil Gilevich is appreciated by readers of various generations and has a special place in the Belarusian literature. His poetry reflects high moral ideals, love for the Homeland, and respect for people,” the head of state noted.

Alexander Lukashenko expressed confidence that the memory of Nil Gilevich as one of the brightest masters of word will remain in the hearts of Belarusian readers.
