Lukashenko expresses condolences over death of Alexander Tikhanovich

MINSK, 28 January (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has expressed condolences to the family and friends of People’s Artist of Belarus Alexander Tikhanovich, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Please accept my deep condolences on the passing of a great musician and a wonderful person. Alexander Tikhanovich added an unforgettable page to the history book of the Belarusian popular singing, his songs became golden hits of all time,” the message of condolences reads.

“A person with great talent and a generous soul supported many young artists and was an example of the devotion to art and his fans. We will cherish the memory of Alexander Tikhanovich forever,” Alexander Lukashenko said.
