Lukashenko: Education development is one of Belarus’ policy priorities

MINSK, 17 May (BelTA) – The development of professional education is one of Belarus’ policy priorities, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said in his message of greetings addressed to the participants of the 2nd national contest of professional excellence WorldSkills Belarus 2016, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Having demonstrated your strength and the will to win in the regional stage of the contest, you have reached the final stage of the nationwide competition,” the message of greetings reads.

The President stressed that the development of professional education as a condition of enhancing the economic security of the state is one the most important priorities of the state policy which pays special attention to young people.

Alexander Lukashenko expressed confidence that such contests will attract more participants and will make a big contribution to the professional development of young workers and specialists in Belarus.

The head of state also wished the participants and experts of the forum unforgettable impressions, new creative achievements, and professional victories.
