Lukashenko: Coronavirus cases are decreasing in Belarus

MOGILEV, 5 November (BelTA) - The coronavirus cases are decreasing in Belarus, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he inaugurated the cardiac surgery and cardiotherapy units of the Mogilev Oblast Hospital on 5 November, BelTA has learned.

"Belarus COVID cases have already dipped from the latest peak. Many regional and other hospitals are already reducing the number of beds for COVID-19 patients. We have begun to provide routine care in full volume," Aleksandr Lukashenko said.

The head of state urged citizens to take care of their health and be responsible. "Take care of yourself. Everything depends on you. Masks are your business. We will not make you do it. But remember that it is you who are the architects of your health," the president emphasized.

"We will not ‘press’ anyone. We will explain and convince you to use means of protection," Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
