MINSK, 24 August (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent Independence Day greetings to Ukraine President Petro Poroshenko, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

Strategic partnership between Belarus and Ukraine is increasingly vibrant thanks to the enhancement of the political dialogue, the message of greetings reads. “Our personal attention to the development of all-round ties with Belarus plays a big role in building mutually beneficial cooperation,” the Belarusian leader noted.

“I appreciate our friendly constructive relations and expect to continue joint work in the resolution of issues on the Belarusian-Ukrainian agenda as well as topical international issues,” Alexander Lukashenko said.
