Lukashenko: Belarus succeeded in keeping peace amid global tensions

MINSK, 31 July (BelTA) – Belarus, situated in the epicenter of global confrontation, has preserved the most important thing: a peaceful sky overhead, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said during a meeting with the heads of Belarusian diplomatic missions, BelTA has learned.

"Belarus has preserved the most valuable thing: a peaceful sky overhead. Despite severe economic pressure, we have been able to provide people with jobs, boost incomes, and offer hope for tomorrow," the Belarusian leader emphasized.

Despite being targeted by information warfare, Belarus has expanded its circle of friends across all continents.

Aleksandr Lukashenko emphasized that this achievement is the result of a consistent strategic choice endorsed by citizens. It includes defending sovereignty, ensuring economic governability, fostering close allied relations with brotherly Russia and great China, and engaging in open and honest cooperation with all countries without preconditions, taboos, or unilateral gains.

“All Belarusians have contributed to this work. But that doesn't mean we have already hit the jackpot and can relax. Quite the opposite!” the Belarusian leader stressed.
