ISLAMABAD, 5 October (BelTA) - The Belarus-Pakistan investment cooperation has good prospects, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said at the opening of the 4th Belarus-Pakistan Business and investment Forum in Islamabad on 5 October, BelTA has learned.

“Addressing the participants of this forum I invite Pakistani businessmen to invest in lucrative projects in Belarus. I am sure that such cooperation has good prospects,” Alexander Lukashenko underlined.

The head of state pointed out that Belarus offers a number of preferences that foreign companies can benefit from. “In terms of tax planning and optimization, the preferences include special preferential terms for starting a business in six free economic zones. Foreign companies can also get additional benefits, lower their investment costs and tax burden by investing in our small and medium-sized cities,” the President said.
