Lukashenko: Belarus-Latvia relations rely on principles of partnership and respect

MINSK, 18 November (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent greetings to Latvia President Raimonds Vejonisas as the country celebrates the 99th anniversary of the Republic of Latvia, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The head of state mentioned the constructive nature of the neighborly Belarusian-Latvian relations relying on the principles of partnership and mutual respect.

Alexander Lukashenko expressed hope for the further active development of cooperation in the bilateral and pan-European formats in the best interests of the two nations for the sake of security and wellbeing in the region.
