MINSK, 12 July (BelTA) – Belarus has been dealing with a full-scale hybrid warfare, which is offensive in nature, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said at a ceremony to honor graduates of military schools and high-ranking officers in Minsk on 12 July, BelTA has learned.

The head of state stressed that the pressure on Belarus is growing not only in the military-political but also in other areas, primarily in economy and media. "This once again confirms that we are up against full-scale hybrid warfare which is always offensive in nature," the Belarusian leader said. “This war involves both national structures and also those of NATO which specialize in psy-ops and subversive operations in cyberspace. "

Simultaneously they are making attempts to split the economic and political unions which include Belarus and Russia, Aleksandr Lukashenko stated. "Amid the severe pressure some of our allies in the CSTO and the CIS have,  unfortunately, chosen a wait-and-see approach, to put it mildly. Yet, the Belarusian policy has not been shaken. We maintain a dialogue with countries that respect our opinion and our interests," the president said.
